Even though we try to answer many questions here on the website, much relevant knowledge is not formalized or written down. It is, on the other hand, distributed among the community of game developers, locally and globally. Becoming a part of this community can prove to be immensely valuable, both in terms of finding relevant information, sparring and seeking business partners, meeting new clients etc.
All it requires, in most cases, is to actively participate in some of the industry events, talk to other developers and try to give something back to the community. Share your work, your experiences, your successes and failures.
If you're not already on Twitter, we strongly recommend to create a profile and start posting frequently. A large number of game developers in Scandinavia as well as all over the world are very active on Twitter, and it's a great tool for networking and communicating.
We're @scangame on Twitter, by the way. You can follow us and please get in touch if you have any comments or questions.
